More on that conservative hypocrisy
It seems that when a conservative man is anti-Catholic, William Donohue thinks it's just a quip. When other Catholics express outrage at the anti-Catholic comments by this conservative, Donohue thinks they owe the poor widdle baby an apology. But when a liberal woman (rightfully) criticizes the Catholic Church for its policies and views on women, gays, and civil rights, she's a bigot. Donohue expressed concern about a people "piling on" in the wake of the anti-Semetic rant by Mel Gibson.
On the August 1 edition of MSNBC's Scarborough Country, William A. Donohue, president of the conservative Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, said, "There's a lot of people who have made comments which are bigoted who are not necessarily bigots," adding that he is "concerned now about piling on." Of those who won't forgive Gibson, Donohue said: "Who gives a damn about those people?" Donohue then asked, "What kind of blood do they want out of this man?
Gosh. I guess it's okay if you're a conservative man to spew this crap. And it's okay to pile on people if you're conservative and they're liberal or progressive. For this frothing rabid jackal to wax outraged about Amanda and Shakes supposed bigotry is laughable, all things considered. Donohue also started to aspirate on his own spittle when Mark Foley, the Senator who sexually harassed his young male pages, said he was molested by a priest.
“As for the alleged abuse, it’s time to ask some tough questions. First, there is a huge difference between being groped and being raped, so which was it Mr. Foley? Second, why didn’t you just smack the clergyman in the face? After all, most 15-year-old teenage boys wouldn’t allow themselves to be molested. So why did you?”
Nah. Nothing hateful about that at all. Being pro-Catholic means giving child-molesting priests a free pass. Besides, if you were "just" groped, it was no big deal and you should have given him a beat-down--though I'm sure that beat-down and the subsequent explanation would have gotten more condemnation from the self-righteous, hypocritical, bigoted Catholic League.
Michelle Malkin, a member of the pack of baying jackals, hardly has clean hands when it comes to bigotry. She's quite happy to associate with pseudo-scientists who try to dress racism up in lab coats and call it rational. These folks hang out a VDare, and their agenda is well-known.
The VDARE Web site also contains an archive of columns by Sam Francis, the immigrant-bashing editor of the newspaper of the white supremacist Council of Conservative Citizens*. In his columns, Francis rails against the "emerging Hispanic majority," plugs conspiracy theories, and promotes white racial consciousness. In April, VDARE took one more step toward the racist right, publishing an essay on its Web site by white supremacist Jared Taylor that dismisses "the fantasy of racial equality," claims the Civil Rights Act of 1964 "stripped Americans of the right to make free decisions," and says that "[b]lacks, in particular, riot with little provocation," unlike the far more peaceable white race.
You can read more about VDare here. An unsavory, bigoted lot, to be sure.
Gosh, but do, let's get all uptight about Amanda and Shakes potty-mouthed misandry! I mean! It's scandalous. What I'd like to know is why the pundits and journalists at the Associated Press, the New York Times, and the New York Times blog haven't applied a critical eye to their sources.
So much for the supposedly liberal media. I am still tap-tap-tapping my foot in anticipation that these oh-so-moral and righteous folks turn their holy eyes upon one of their own. Not that I'm holding my breath or anything. If there's one thing that marks the pack of jackals, it's their love of the double-standard.

Probably for the same reason why Wendy McElroy routinely trashes and lies about feminists--it accords her special snowflake status, she gets exposure, and as a token, and she can pretend they respect her (because they'll insist they do even though they'll turn on her easily enough). It's also easy to fool yourself into thinking that that the racists and misogynists don't mean you when they spout that dreck--they mean those other people. And when you buy into that crap--and Malkin has some pretty bigoted ideas about Muslims and immigrants--you just have to pretend that you're not subject to that sort of rhetoric.
She's not stupid, but she's terribly misguided.

Shorter Steve Sailer:
"The browner you are, the lower your IQ."
Malkin is crazy, but she's not stupid. Why is she willing to wear Sailer's albatross around her neck?
It's a mystery to me.
